Israel and Palestine are different cultures

The Palestinian tradition dates back centuries and, for years, it was controlled by the Ottoman Empire. It was mostly a Muslim country until Israel’s founding and the Jewish National Fund.

Today, both sides are self-governing; one part is an Israeli control, and the other part is a part of Palestine under the United Nations General Assembly. As of early 2020, the peace process, including indirect talks between Israel and Palestine, has produced only a ceasefire, recognizing a state for both sides.

It is a known fact that Israelis respect the Palestinian culture and have friendly relations with the locals. Palestine was a cultural haven for Jews; it has beautiful Jewish sites, numerous synagogues, and other beautiful buildings. As of 2020, Israel and Palestine are still at war.

Monotheism was the official religion of ancient Israel. They were led by a king and he was assisted by priests, religious people, who encouraged the people to live a holy life. Since Christianity became popular in Israel, they were converted to Christianity and lived in an interesting way.

Palestinians, on the other hand, practiced a more spiritual type of Judaism. In the Palestine of today, they believe in Allah. Palestinians consider Jerusalem to be holy and refer to it as “al-Haram al-Sharif” which means House of the Holy. Israel considers Jerusalem holy and Jewish holidays celebrate the Biblical Jewish Temple.

The other civilization, Iran, is different as it follows a different culture

There are lots of Zoroastrian and Jewish communities there. In recent years, the Iranian revolution has led to further tensions between the two sides. Iran and Israel are at war because Israel says it is protecting its existence.

Iran believes it can take over the Middle East by force and plans to take control of the Gulf of Mexico. Israel fears the same and this tension could lead to war. If Israel or Iran were to attack each other, what would happen?

This conflict is most likely caused by Israel and Iran’s fear of other nations becoming nuclear weapons. If there were nuclear weapons in Iran, they would have been used and both sides would have felt threatened and attacked each other.

Now, although Israel is in the middle of a war, it has a lot of military bases in a very strategically located area. This allows it to defend itself. Israel also has the largest navy in the world and Israel’s borders are protected by its nuclear missile batteries.

Nuclear weapons are the same when comparing the two sides

While Israel doesn’t have them, they have used nuclear missiles. It is hard to find any people that support such weapons in other countries because they are created with the sole intention of destroying something.

This can be seen in the four Islamic nations that didn’t use nuclear weapons in their disputes with Israel, namely Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, and Iran. These nations believed in maintaining the nation’s interest, not using their nuclear weapons. In the end, they discovered they made the wrong decision.

Ultimately, it’s a very complex issue that requires an informed person to make a decision and to choose the side that pro-Israel and pro-Palestinian. Even if we knew about the other side’s culture, we could not determine if it would lead to war or not. Although peace is a goal, it is difficult to attain and we should remember that both sides want a nation state and will fight until one gets it.
